Very exciting project. Looking forward to exploring it's use as a data layer for a local mySQL server integrated with Mozilla (see mozwho.mozdev.org).

Any chance you can provide pre-compiled XPCOM components?

Okay, I added an archive on the installation page that includes the libmozMySQL.so, mozIMySQL.xpt, and mozIMySQL.idl files, so that should work for your Linux system. Copy the .so and .xpt files to your mozilla bin/components/ directory.

A little help could be useful. How to start this on win32?
C:Program FilesMozilla>mozilla -chrome chrome://mysqlclient/content

results with failure saying something like 'file / does not exist!' and a blank mozilla window is opened.

I was trying to locate the source code for your XPCOM but apparently you have not uploaded that yet. Can you please upload the source code for the XPCOM client. Thanks.

I cannot seem to run it under Red Hat Linuz 7.2.

I get the message:

Could not locate MySQL XPCOM component!

I have Mozilla 1.2.1 installed, and I think everything that is needed is in the components directory.

Help - This looks like a great tool! I am half way through a moderately large MySQL/PHP/Javascript project.

Anyone know how to get the install.js script to properly register a component? I can't find this info anywhere!!!
My XPI seems to put the components in the right place (getFolder("Components")), but on startup the component can't be found.

change @dsbox.com to @localhost
if still not work, u must recomplie
at mozMySQL.h alos edit as :
